Genevieve Stiers, MS
Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
Clinical Supervisor: DeLyn Griffin, MA, LMFT (OR#T3119), RPT™ (#T7301)
Currently accepting new clients. I work with children, teens, adults, couples and families.
Each of us is born inherently worthy of love, acceptance, and connection. Along the way, life’s experiences can lead us to believe otherwise, showing up as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or low self-worth. I believe healing begins when we approach ourselves and one another with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment.
My hope is to provide a space where you feel safe to explore your story, deepen your understanding of yourself and your relationships, and reconnect with the worth that has always been yours. Together, we can uncover the patterns that have shaped your life, make sense of your experiences, and discover new ways of relating to yourself and the people you love.
I work with families, couples, and individuals of all ages navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, life transitions, parenting concerns, self-worth, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is grounded in attachment theory and draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), strengths-based therapy, mindfulness, and play therapy. I tailor therapy to your unique needs while honoring your values, culture, and lived experiences.
Whether you’re seeking stronger relationships, greater self-understanding, or simply a place where you can feel seen and accepted, I would be honored to walk alongside you. Through self-awareness, compassion, and authentic connection, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
In my free time, I love exploring with my rescue pup, trying new restaurants, soaking up the sun (when Portland allows!), cooking, wandering through farmers markets, reading, and spending quality time with my loved ones.
